apple crumble

Hey,

Rezept:
You need:
cooking apples (about 1kg)
double shot of orange juice
brown sugar (120 g)
sprinkle of cinnamon
plain flour (120g)
cold butter (80g)

preheat the oven to 180 °C
core the apples, then peel and cut into chunks
place them in a pan with the orange juice, a handful of the sugar and the cinnamon.
stew the fruit for just a few minutes, until the apple chunks begin to soften around the edges.
tip into an ovenproof dish.
sift the flour into a clean bowl and add the diced butter.
rub the two together with your fingertips until it all looks like breadcrumbs.
stir through the rest of the sugar and springle over the half-cooked apples.
bake for about 30 minutes, until golden on top and the apples are beginning to bubble up at the sides.

xxx,
Tammy
